Here it goes...

I've never done a blog before... I thought this might be a chance to start a conversation or at least get an issue off my chest.

I love food. No seriously. I love food. I am however trying to not become overweight... Is there any way to accomplish this?  Hence the tittle, can't I have my cake and eat it too...


We've started the paleo diet... basically you only eat things cavemen would have... no sugar or dairy or grains...

Just a couple of the things I love.

My husband is overweight and I am trying to be supportive in this venture as he needs to loose weight and I would like to be a little more toned.

It's day two and already I am ready to kill someone for a chocolate chip cookie. I know there is a usual withdrawal period.

Anyone out there have a diet where you don't feel hungry but get to eat what you love?
